During my training at Johnson Space Center I was fortunate enough to experience firsthand the professionalism and camaraderie of the NASA team. I am deeply saddened by this loss. I hope we can continue to explore the universe and move forward with the work of the Columbia crew and the dreams they pursued. I am praying for the families of these astronauts and for all of my friends at NASA. These men and women are true heroes. - about the death of the seven astronaut crewmembers of the Space Shuttle Columbia, which broke up as it was re-entering the earth's atmosphere over Texas on Saturday (February 1)

- A man named Jason was originally going to be the second N in NSync, but Lance joined, so for the sake of the group, he became Lansten.
- Is afraid of flying.
- His band nicknames are Pez "'cause I have a big Adam's apple" and Scoop "because when (the guys) ask me about our itinerary, I always know."
