- Bryan McFadden left the band on March 9, 2004 to devote more of his time to his family life with the British TV personality and former Atomic Kitten member Kerry Katona, although he has subsequently separated from her and changed the spelling of his first name to 'Brian'.
- On Brian McFadden's birth certificate, his name is Brian but he changed it to Bryan when he joined Westlife because he said it looked cooler. He reverted back to Brian in 2004 when he became a solo singer.
- Nicky's wife, Georgina, is the eldest daughter of Bertie Ahern, Prime Minister of the Republic of Ireland.
