- The name "TLC" was based upon the first names of the original members of the group: Tionne, Lisa, and Crystal.
- Left-Eye did not attend T-Boz's wedding; when she also did not turn up for a scheduled press conference and a family gathering, T-Boz and Chili announced to the press that Left-Eye was missing, in hopes of finding her.
- Left-Eye's funeral was held on May 3, 2002, with thousands of fans and admirers in attendance.
