Current Members : Bruce Dickinson - vocals (1982-1993, 1999-present), Dave Murray - guitar (1976--present, Murray was actually fired for a few months in 1977), Adrian Smith - guitar (1980-1990, 1999-present), Janick Gers - guitar (1990-present), Steve Harris - bass (1975-present), Nicko McBrain - drums (1983-present). The band's mascot, Eddie, is a perennial fixture in the horror-influenced album cover art, as well as in live shows. Eddie also featured in a first-person shooter video game, Ed Hunter. Steve Harris and Dave Murray had estabilised the Iron Maiden.
