There's pressure to be a heavy band in this whole scene, and we just really turned our backs on it completely. I think the world of rap-metal is just pathetically ridiculous. In my opinion, it's a very horrible place to be. We don't want to be part of anyone's little bullshit scene. (Mike)

- "Incubus" is latin for "nightmare."
- In April 2002, the band hit the road for Honda's Civic Tour with Hoobastank. Incubus was allowed to design a Civic given away in a drawing.
- Former members of the band include DJ Lyfe (turntables) and Alex Katunich (a.k.a. Dirk Lance) (bass).
