- The band got its name after seeing the film Tre volti della paura, I (1963) (which was released under the title of "Black Sabbath" in the UK) advertised outside a cinema.
- Is a British heavy metal band.
- By 1974, the band was heavily addicted to drugs and experiencing major management problems (the group was managed by Ozzy's future father-in-law, Don Arden).
